Background of the project
We all live in a world where almost every human activity is related to digital tools. We speak about digitally native generation but also those who were not born with digital devices in their hands should have an access to the opportunities that are available nowadays.
The Digital Agenda is so much relevant to the EC, that is one of the 7 pillars of the Europe 2020 Strategy, proposing to better exploit the potential of ICTs in order to foster innovation, economic growth and progress across Europe. Still, many EU citizens, according to the statistics, have never used Internet at all!
Living on rapidly digital developing world and the same time, aging society, the project goal is to make older active players and citizens, equipped with competences required by our hyper-connected world.
